“Let the beauty we love, be what we do.”

I am a San Francisco based artist, educator, and scholar committed to dance as a life practice – a practice of focus, meaning making, and collaborative exhilaration.

My creative process organizes community engagement, story-telling, and critical discourse into workshops, performances, films, and scholarly articles.

My choreographic work blends contemporary ballet, dance theatre, and the absurd to make dances that entertain, compel, and (hopefully) inspire.

I make work that matters to me, on topics that directly affect my life and my community, and that represent the life and times I live in.
