The Calm Waters and You

The calm waters are the ones that are always there.

Their vastness returns, becoming our illuminated center.

What is center if not release?

When symmetry dies,

And divisions collapse,

We release the horizon;

Our illuminated centers, free.

As everlasting as the calm waters and you.

Somewhere between hold on (wait)

And hold on (don’t let go),

I sway.

Slow dance with me,

In the space where sinking becomes floating.

Sinking from the wait.

Floating from the hold on.
